A new report from The Doctors Company surveyed more than 3,400 physicians on their satisfaction with value-based care models, bundled payments and more.
Here are three report insights to know:
1. On bundled payments, 48 percent of physicians surveyed said they did not plan to participate, compared to 14 percent who planned to participate.
2. For value-based care, 63 percent of physicians said value-based care would have a negative impact on their earnings, with physicians saying they are spending more on partnerships and services to keep their quality metrics high.

3. Only 4 percent of physicians believe the shift to value-based care will have a strong positive impact for patients. Physicians said they are worried that the pay-for-performance reimbursement of value-based care does not take into consideration the nuances of the physician-patient relationship.
